Please note: All of the Neuron range are NOT Opti controllers. If using with an independent battery fro receiver, you must disable the red wire in the Receiver lead from the ESC.
Also please note that there is BEC voltage on the S-Port red wire. So you should always disable the red wire in the S-Port lead from the ESC.
07/05/19. Update. It seems that FrSky have responded to this issue, and have now removed the centre pin from the S-Port plug. The manual has been updated to show this.
