I've seen that FrSky have recently launched this new protocol. It looks good to me. I have a QX7 running OpenTx 2.1. and a bunch of various FrSky Rx's. I'm trying to find a HowTo that describes how I can take advantage of the new protocol. Any links greatly appreciated.

You can read about the new ACCESS system here:

FrSky Advanced Communication Control Elevated Spread Spectrum – ACCESS protocol release!

There are some updates for some receivers.  As Richard said, X7 updates will not be long.

Thanks for the replies. I also have a X9D+. Is it possible to get this updated to use the ACCESS protocol? On the FrSky website there are FW up dates in subsections "Firmware" and Firmware-XJT" but none of the revisions mention the ACCESS protocol.

I am sure that it will be available soon for your X9D+ but not right now.

Just an update on ACCESS developments, Frsky have announced an ACCESS protocol updated firmware to allow D16 operation so you will be able to use ACCST receivers if you have ACCESS on your TX. It will be available by the end of May

Well thats good news, just wish they had taken care of the thousands of customers that have supported them first, get the higher end transmitters and receivers updated.  Horus etc.
